1  AAD 2024CC based on 165 nb${}^{-1}$ of proton-lead collision data at a nucleon-nucleon c.m. energy of 8.16 TeV. Top quark pair production is observed with more than 5$\sigma $ significance in each mode. The nuclear modification factor is measured to be $\mathit R_{{{\mathit p}} {{\mathit A}}}$ = $1.090$ $\pm0.039$(stat)${}^{+0.094}_{-0.087}$(syst). The results agree with theory predictions.
2  SIRUNYAN 2017CQ based on 174 nb${}^{-1}$ of proton-lead collision data at a nucleon-nucleon c.m. energy of 8.16 TeV. Top quark pair production is observed with more than 5$\sigma $ significance. The measured cross section is consistent with the expectation from the scaled ${{\mathit p}}{{\mathit p}}$ data as well as perturbative QCD calculations.
