FORWARD-BACKWARD ASYMMETRIES

The forward-backward assymmetry is defined as A$_{FB}$ = [ N(q$_{FB}>$ 0) $−$ N(q$_{FB}<$ 0)] $/$ [N(q$_{FB}>$ 0) + N(q$_{FB}<$ 0) ], where q$_{FB}$ = $−$ q$_{B}\cdot{}$sgn(${{\mathit \eta}_{{{B}}}}$) with q$_{B}$ as the ${{\mathit B}}$ hadron electric charge, ${{\mathit \eta}_{{{B}}}}$ as its pseudorapidity, and sgn(${{\mathit \eta}_{{{B}}}}$) as a sign function of ${{\mathit \eta}_{{{B}}}}$.

A$_{FB}$ in ${{\mathit B}^{+}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\overline{\mathit D}}^{*0}}{{\mathit e}^{+}}{{\mathit \nu}_{{{e}}}}$
